PHASE TWO - Junior Creative Writing Contest

The Entries are....

Entry  1 -

EVIL

It all started on the day we moved in. The morning we moved in a guy drove us to our new house. Mom asked where our new house is. The guy that drove us, Mr. loving, said that it was in Dark Falls.

"How much longer will it be till we get there I ask?

"One more hour", says Mr. loving.

"Okay" I sigh.

"Man", my brother Josh said.

"This is boring," we say together.

Our dog Petey just sits there and stares at us.

When we got to our new house Mr. loving  took the keys out of his pocket and said, "Let’s have a look around."

"Not me," said Josh. I’ll stay outside with Petey.

"Take him for a walk," Mom said.

"Here," Dad said, holding a leash out for Josh to take just in case he needs it.

"But, Dad, Petey never needed a leash.

       ‘‘Okay, Dad said.’’

we all went in together except Josh of course, he’s so scared to go into a house that he doesn’t his way around. He thinks he’ll get lost in a humongous house he doesn’t know. I went in with Mom, Dad, and Mr. Loving. I told Mom I was going to look at my room.

       ‘‘ All right’’ Mom said

‘‘ But make it quick’’ She said.

       ‘‘ Okay’’ I say excitedly.

I ran up the stairs. I tripped on the fourth stair. In a hurry I guess. I got up and continued up the stairs. When I got to up to the second story I heard whispers. I looked down at my shoes. My shoelace had come undone. Then I looked back up . I saw a girl looked back at me! That night I thought about what I saw today. I crept out of bed and into the hall. I saw Mr. Loving in the hall. I asked him what he was doing. He didn’t answer. His eyes were glowing red. He mumbled like a zombie. He said every empty life must answer to evil! He reached out and took a big chunk of me.
